Why? As Exeter Pirate Day inches ever closer the time has come to gather and glean knowledge of the ways of war... or at least, boarding actions.
As you know, before each Exeter Pirate Day we take the time to make sure that everyone has a bit of an idea which end of a cutlass to hold and why swinging around the metal ones in public places is frowned upon by the glorious constabulary.
'Tis a fun day, held in conjunction with WyvernsTales for the last two years and Critical Mass in Exeter. We use foam and latex larp weapons so that everyone can join in with the day regardless of experience (the equipment will be lent to you on the day) and learn footwork, different weapon styles, basic defence and attack as well as a number of combat games designed to use your new skills in the field.
At the end of it, you get a certificate to say that you passed the course, a little bit fitter and a grand day out.
Payment can be made through pay pal to: GideonLawrence@wyvernstales.co.uk
Upon receiving payment you will receive a 10% discount voucher for kit ordered from Wyverns Tales so the sooner you pay for the event, the more chance you have to order some fantastic piratical stuff!
If you have any questions, feel free to get in contact. Look forward to seeing you there
